Author Biography
Xiomara Martinez is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and creator of the CHIME Network (Change, Hope, Inspire, Motivate and Empower) that inspires women and young adults. The owner of HomeX Decor, a successful home design and staging company, she has written newspaper and magazine columns on decorating as well as produced and hosted "El Show de Xiomara Martinez" on Telemundo SW and Univision SW Florida. She made a harrowing escape from Cuba, overcame an abusive childhood, and personal and physical challenges to become a successful businessperson, and through it all never lost sight of the role God has played in her life. Her memoir, A Light Above and Beyond, recounts her journey and her faith, and hopes to inspire others to find their own faith and strength to overcome their problems and become triumphant.
