Author Biography
Michelann Parr began her teaching career in elementary classrooms. She has extensive training in early literacy intervention and is passionate about working with students who struggle to read and write. Michelann collaborated to develop a highly regarded Language and Literacy course at the Schulich School of Education with her co-author and colleague, Terry Campbell. She is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Nipissing University Centre for Literacy. A frequent conference presenter and workshop leader, Michelann has had numerous articles published and is the author of Teaching the Language Arts: Engaging Literacy Practices. Terry Campbell began her career as a storyteller and teacher in elementary classrooms. She has extensive training in early literacy intervention and is passionate about working with students who struggle to read and write. Terry collaborated to develop a highly regarded Language and Literacy Education course with her co-author and colleague, Michelann Parr.
