Here is a book that pertains to Southern California back in the 1800s and it's probably not recognized as much as it should I love it just for the maps but Charles nordhoff the author and also the namesake to the city Nordoff which in time changed to ojai was a very prolific writer and photographer he loved writing of the land and the people that he calls his home he particularly inscribed this book to general EFBO was one of the one of the founders of Fort tejon and of course of the bell tower dedicated to him in Bakersfield these stories of him going to Africa and bringing back camels to help going through the desert and back in the 1800s bills a whole different subject but that's was a friend of his this book is profusely inscribed with illustrations there is so much about Southern California written through this book honestly this is going to be a very economical copy with everything in it that were the conditions it gives you the chance to keep it by your night stand and read get whenever you want to please look at the pictures and ask any questions thank you for looking
