Chris McManus is Professor of Psychology and Medical Education, in the Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology, University College London. Stanton Newman is Professor of Health Psychology, and Vice-President (International) at City, University of London. Keith J. Petrie is Professor of Health Psychology at Auckland University Medical School, New Zealand. Tracey A.
