A mindful moment of self-compassion has the ability to shift self-doubt into embodied confidence, shame or guilt into grounded self-acceptance, and fear into eager anticipation. Imagine for a moment, the spaciousness that comes from an open heart and emotional freedom to live each day without fear of your (perceived or real) imperfections or mistakes defining who you are. Through mindfulness based exercises, practices, journal prompts (with plenty of space to journal), and meditations you will begin to see and experience yourself through the lens... and heart of self-compassion. When your heart is centered in self-compassion, you become rooted in self-acceptance.

Peggy Oliveira, MSW is a trauma therapist, social worker, and mentor. She's known as the Survivor Whisperer® for her soulful way of helping clients and followers understand the connections between their current (and possibly life-long) struggles and core wounding, creating an opening for deep healing. Peggy is the founder of Courageous Journeys®, an online space for learning, healing, and connecting via 1:1 mentoring, courses and groups, and a YouTube channel where she shares information on healing emotional wounding. She also facilitates in-person individual and group healing retreats.
