Review
"I'm so glad you are writing this! As it says in the Museum of the American Indian in Washington: There are two things - history and the past - and they are not the same. Your book will bring them closer together." - Gloria Steinem"She's written a superb and riveting memoir which not only chronicles her ancestry as the descendant of runaway slaves, her friendships with Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X and Maulana Karenga, but she also tells the triumph and tragedies of working on the original Star Trek from a perspective never explored before."- Mark A. Altman, Inglorious Treksperts
