Author Biography
Lindsey Michaels is a passionate reading teacher and author. After decades of teaching first graders and preschoolers to read, she knows the best way is to make it a positive, confidence-building experience. When parents wanted help at home, Lindsey used to give them a handout full of recommendations. Now the best reading strategies come to life in a picture book that parents and kids can read together! James has worked on 65 children's books (and counting) and has created characters and illustrations for countless other children's toys and products over 17 years. Jessie has worked as an illustrator and designer for over 8 years, including creating her own online manga comic. She also creates stickers, hand-made jewelry, and other fun products. She loves working in bright, cheerful colors throughout all of her work.
