HelloUp for auction is this lovely bright and clean first edition, 10th impression of Ian Fleming's classic 'Live and Let Die' - the second book in the James Bond series (orginally printed in 1954).As first impressions become prohibitively expensive for many, the later impressions are now becoming increasingly collectible, and are actually quite rare to find in this very good condition. (Also, this NOT a library book - most later prints WERE sent to libraries - so this book is even more prized). As the pics show, this is a 10th impression - dated 1964, with it correct vibrant (really bright in fact) and original to this impression purple jacket - showing books up to and including 1964's You Only Love Twice.Apart from the light rubbing to the very top of the spine of the jacket, and a couple of small splits there too, this NON-PRICE-CLIPPED jacket is in lovely condition, with a really luscious purple colour that really stands out. There are also some very light marks to the back panel of the jacket, but all-told, I think it's in very good, almost as-new condition indeed.Turning to the book itself - just look at the exceptionally bright gilt medallion and lettering on the spine - it really does look like this was bound yesterday. The binding is tight, and square, with no bumped or knocked corners. No spine lean, all as it should be.Inside the book is exceptionally clean too - with (apart from a neat name on the front end paper), lovely, bright, white pages. There are no other blemishes or marks, or spots, or foxing of any kind. A really clean example. Please do bid with confidence, I have a proud 100% ebay rating.Book is shown from all angles. If you have any other questions, or need more pics, just ask. Will post tracked to anywhere in the world. As previously said, good condition, non-library later prints are now getting very collectable, and very scarce and sought after. Grab this chance to get a really nice looking example.Happy bidding....
