Author Biography
PAMELA DAVIES is currently Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology, University of Northumbria, Newcastle and previously worked for Northumbria Police. She has recently edited Understanding Victimization as well as Policing Futures: The Police, Law Enforcement and the Twenty-First Century (both with Peter Francis and Victor Jupp). PETER FRANCIS is Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology , University of Northumbria, Newcastle. He is co-editor with Pamela Davies and Victor Jupp of Understanding Victimization and Policing Futures: The Police, Law Enforcement and the Twenty-First Century. VICTOR JUPP is Head of Sociology, University of Northumbria at Newcastle. His publications include Methods of Criminology Research, and he is co-editor of Understanding Victimization and Policing Futures: The Police, Law Enforcement and the Twenty-First Century with Pamela Davies and Peter Francis.
