Author Biography

Dr James L. D'Adamo, ND DNB, is the originator of the world-famous Blood Type Diet and director of the D'Adamo Institute for the Advancement of Natural Therapies. Trained in the United States, Germany and Switzerland, Dr D'Adamo revolutionised natural medicine more than 50 years ago with his discovery of the correlation between a person's blood type and his or her dietary and exercise requirements. His landmark books, One Man's Food...is someone else's poison (1980) and The D'Adamo Diet (1989), rejected standardised approaches of treatment and passionately called for diagnosis and care based on the individual.
