This collection of research papers explores the implications of quantum cosmology and the status of the laws of nature for theological and philosophical issues regarding God's action in the world. The main goal is to contribute to constructive theology as it engages current research in the natural sciences, and to investigate the philosophical and theological elements in ongoing theoretical research in the natural sciences. The 17 essays in this volume build upon previous theological and philosophical reflection on contemporary scientific cosmology. After an introduction to Big Bang, inflation and quantum cosmology, these essays respond to a series of questions: What methodological issues are raised by the interaction between theology and science? What is the status of time in contemporary physics and cosmology, and how does this relate to divine temporality? What is the status of the laws of nature and how does this relate to divine action? How should God's action as creator and redeemer be reconceived in light of quantum cosmology and the origin and status of the laws of nature?Given the speculative nature of quantum cosmology, how should theological inquiry build responsibly on the theological positions developed previously in light of Big Bank cosmology?
