Chuck Rhoades, Ph.D. has taught health, sexuality, and relationship courses and programs for over 40 years to a range of participants from pre-school to senior citizens. He has worked as a public school teacher and advisor, university professor, educational consultant, curriculum developer, writer, professional trainer, and administrator. He currently teaches at Great Bay Community College.

His class introduced me to the world of relationships and attachment theory - which later inspired me to obtain my Bachelor's in PsychologyDr. Rhoades' inclusive and thoughtful methods of teaching a topic that contains so many nuances are broken down so that they are applicable to every student, regardless of age, ability, or background.What could be more important and relevant for teens than exploring the intricacies of their relationships?Wow! I wish I'd been in Chuck Rhoades' class when I was in high school. There's so much good information here for teens and young adults about all types of relationships - family, friends, romantic, and sexual. And it's all backed up with good classroom modeling, solid research that shows the range of responses, and activities to help youth explore their own perspectives while also hearing from their classmates.
