Author Biography
I think a lot of people, not only teens, might relate to these poems. Although... it is a bit scary to put my vomited-out feelings into the world for all to read. These poems show the evolution of my perspectives throughout my teen years, whether it's a profession of love or journey into the depths of mental health; in the best or saddest times, there are always ups and downs. I began writing this collection at age fourteen and have completed it now, as a newly eighteen-year-old. I share this with the reader in five parts: Age 14, when I was daydreaming about love. Ages 14-16, while I was deep into my first love. Age 16, when I was dealing with the heartbreak of the breakup. Age 17, as I worked through the healing. And finally 18, as a young adult. I hope this helps other people who are either going through similar things, or have gone through it, themselves. We're all gonna make it, guys! - Issey
