Teresa (VanEtten) Pijoan was raised on the San Juan Pueblo Indian Reservation in New Mexico and later her family moved to the Nambe Indian Reservation. She is a national lecturer, storyteller, research writer, college professor, and teacher. She has lectured throughout Central Europe, Mexico, and the United States. Author Biography

Teresa (VanEtten) Pijoan was raised on the San Juan Pueblo Indian Reservation in New Mexico and later her family moved to the Nambe Indian Reservation. She is a national lecturer, storyteller, research writer, college professor, and teacher. She has lectured throughout Central Europe, Mexico, and the United States. She is also the author of "Pueblo Indian Wisdom," "American Indian Creation Myths," "Healers on the Mountain," "Native American Creation Stories of Family and Friendship," "Myths of Magical Native American Women Including Salt Woman Stories," "Water Stories of Native American and Asian Indians: Legends of Rain, Rivers and Lakes," and two mystery novels, "Dead Kachina Man" and "Granger's Threat," all from Sunstone Press.
