The last chapter provides the author's business, financial and personal background. My Value Perspectives is a revealing portrayal from child to adult, sharing my dad's wealth lessons. I've owned small retail businesses, to fully licensed stockbroker, to director and large stockholder of public companies, to area franchisee of one of the world's largest franchise. I understand wealth concepts, have a strong work ethic, and saved and invested from an early age. In a haphazard way, changing career paths every five years, I achieved wealth in spite of leaving huge amounts on the table and by doing everything the hard way. Nobody is perfect, life is messy at times, and my experiences show how a solid wealth foundation helps you recover and succeed - regardless of the pitches life throws your way. Dad taught me early in life to put my Wealthy Mindset in motion by developing a Life Wealth Plan. Back then this meant using a pencil and paper to calculate compound interest on paper route savings, plus regular deposits, to see if I'd be a millionaire by age 30. I'm not suggesting everyone needs or even wants to be a millionaire. We are all unique human beings, with different ideas, hopes and dreams.
